| [Serious] My Worst Fears Are Coming True
Hi All,
My sister-in-law and I took my mom to her appt. with the pulmonary specialist. She definitely has a spot on her left lung under her shoulder. She also has one enlarged lymph node. Looks like the liver is clear. I asked the pulmonary doc to show me the CT scan and she did. Mom will have a bronchscopy on Tues. and a PET scan on Wed. We should have all her results later next week.
I really don't know what to think anymore. Just give it all for my family, OK? All is appreciated!
I will be back... gotta grab some lunch.

We just got the call from the pulmonary specialist a little while ago. She's going to know my family quite well.
My mom's diagnosis is cancer. The pathologist has made a preliminary report of non small cell cancer. We don't know if it originated from the lung or elsewhere. There is a spot in her abdomen in addition to her lung. Mom must have a colonoscopy. The pulmonary specialist's office is in the process of getting the colonoscopy and the appt. with Dad's oncologist set up fairly quickly.
Thank God I am not working at the moment. I must just tell the bills that I owe to take it and shove it. LOL Seriously, my parents come first.
I HATE CANCER!!!!!!!!!!!
