AT&T doesnt have anything to do with the Highwinds newsgroup errors. They simply provide your phone line. Have you considered getting a standalone newsgroup provider? I signed up with powerusenet.com while I was still with dslextreme and have been very happy with them. If you need more info drop by the filesharing forum here at dslr, there is a lot of very useful info in there. |

| I already have a standalone provider, Usenet-access.com... been with them for years, and used it as a "pickup" for completing missed file parts and pieces that DSLX didn't get on their servers. Foe $6 a month, it's worth the money. My question is about Highwinds... I should pay even more for either upgrading Usenet-access or for an entirely new usenet service provider just because the usenet I was already paying for stopped working AND I am still paying for that as well?
Somehow that just doesn't make sense to me... |
