Foe $6 a month, it's worth the money. My question is about Highwinds... They simply provide your phone line. Have you considered getting a standalone newsgroup provider? I signed up with powerusenet.com while I was still with dslextreme and have been very happy with them. I know it's not DSLX's fault, but what was the point of making the switch to a provider with "longer retention" if you can't get the messages they retain?

Would it be too much to ask to change things back to the way they were? At least things worked two months ago... I can't even stay connected for more than a few minutes now, not even long enough to get a decent number of headers. If I wasn't using Agent Watch to automatically reconnect me when downloading bodies, I would get nothing at all.
