Re: Now you can...

Uh no, Cablevision servers very large areas of NY, CT, NJ, and a few systems in PA. It's not a single market.

Worth it if you can afford it. I don't pull down a lot of big files, but when I do I'd like to get it quickly. The 5MBps upload is the more interesting part.

I don't see how catching up to fios in a single market = trailblazer. You're gonna have to try a bit harder than a speed test.
You do realise that cablevision is only in the ny metropolitan area right?
that's my very point. They only have to manage a single market.

When it comes to cableco's Time-Warner is merely an also-ran.
Cablevision is consistently a trailblazer.
Cablevision seems nice, but get off the high horse.
I'll keep riding, thank you

Actually Port blocking with Charter seems to be on an area by area basis.

A trailblazer? Tell me, does OOL still cap power-users who actually try to use their internet connections down to 128kbps?
[/BQUOTE :

No, have not done this for well over a year.

I really thought they would have bought them up by now... I guess TW isn't as hungry for acquisitions as Comcast is.

Actually, they do...unfortunately...

I don't believe they have any bandwidth restrictions.

Ever since the new speeds were introduced no caps have been reported.
