Connecting dual AP's

I want to be able to connect two AP's by ethernet to then end of a PTP wireless bridge. My bridge only has (1) ethernet port. What is the best way to handle this?

P.S. the Ap's will be back to back broadcasting to seperate clusters with sectional antennas.

Thanks,

Rick

One idea is to read up on WDS
»en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_D···n_System
the other is a 4 port Switch for the bridge and two APs

Reading up on WDS does not solve my particular problem.

I am running the bridges as 5 Ghz backhauls on a mesh network with 2.4 Ghz AP's.

The switch idea is a possibility that I have considered. Not sure how badly it will add heat and moisture to the sealed box. Also not sure you can run a switch without ventilation and that is a problem in a salty air environment.

I curious what other people do in this situation.

Thanks for your input.

Rick

Sounds like you need a switch. Don't think you'll hardly notice any heat or power load from a 5 port 10/100.
