anon : Can comeone tell me exactly how often the self-care/system updates bandwidth usage? It took over an hour and half to update a download finished at 10:00pm on the 30th of April(so it didn't show up until 11:30+) Perhaps it's because all the servers are getting overloaded when users are trying to use up the last of their remaining gigs before the new counter begins.. Of course, you can see how problems can arise if the last months download gigs don't get updated until the 1st of the next month?

In the case of overloading nearing months end, if cogeco insists on being so heavy handed on their bandwidth caps, then they should AT LEAST be updated every 5-10 mins, not an hour plus. And if they don't want people trying to use up their bandwidth before months end, then they should go back to the old soft cap/don't ask, don't enforce policy that worked great for years.

Thanks
