Re: [Help] Newspaper wants to buy rights to one of my images..

It appears that the newspaper is part of Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc.

Community Newspaper Holdings Inc. is one of the largest publishers of local newspapers, Web sites and niche publications in the United States. Its products are leading providers of local news and information for more than 150 communities throughout the United States. Founded in 1997, CNHI is a privately owned company based in Birmingham, Ala.

That being said, don't think you're going to make a lot of money. It's hard to say what you should charge. If you had a studio and did photography as a profession, you might expect more than if you are an amateur and do photography as a hobby. As Stacy See Profile said, they could go to a stock site. Be reasonable, but don't give your work away. You put a lot of money and time into your photography. Consider that when deciding. Are you comfortable with selling the rights to the image?
