i just don't understand why if i have cox hsi lite and i am interested in trying another level service, why i could not go back to the lite service. especially if the other service does not fit my needs.(of course, i would pay for the other level while i use it).
customer service tells me it is because they don't have a lite service anymore (which is what i was told 6 months ago when i ordered it, but they gave it to me).
how can you tell a customer you don't have a service that they are currently receiving?
it feels like they would rather loose a customer than keep one that MIGHT stay on a $15.00 plan.
any ideas? |

I've seen this type of thing a lot with cell phone service(I used to work in the industry). Old plans get grandfathered, and if you stick to them companies will usually let you stay on them indefinitely. But switch off even for a day, and a lot of the times their computer systems won't let you re-enter the same type of plan.
It kinda stinks for the customer, but companies do need to move on to other offerings and what not for various reasons. |
