I thought Internet Tools had a speed preview option for the lower tiers of service to try a faster one for free. Maybe it's not in all areas. |

I've seen this type of thing a lot with cell phone service(I used to work in the industry). Old plans get grandfathered, and if you stick to them companies will usually let you stay on them indefinitely. But switch off even for a day, and a lot of the times their computer systems won't let you re-enter the same type of plan.
It kinda stinks for the customer, but companies do need to move on to other offerings and what not for various reasons. |
