| [Line Problem] Multiple line problems, dsl sync issues, no dialt
Some time around January or February, my father upgraded our dsl line from 3mbps to 6. We have had intermittent issues with dsl sync since then. There is also occasionally an insane amount of noise on the lines. Of course the noise is probably why the dsl is losing sync. Apparently AT&T knows about the problem, as they have had trucks out here for a week or 2 working on the lines.
So a tech came around our house today and I'm guessing he did stuff to the line, because now we have no dialtone at all on any phone, and the dsl speed is 2/3 the speed it should be.
I'm hoping the tech just stopped in the middle of his work and left our phone lines messed up. Should we call at&t and complain, or should we just wait and see if it resolves itself? |
