Re: FiOS PRICE INCREASE UNDER CONTRACT, This Is Total BS !!!

I think the person you spoke to is misinformed. During your contract period, Verizon cannot raise prices. Once again, this is just another bad communication on their part. I guess they cannot tell what kind of contract each person has and therefore just notify everyone.

Thanks Hooper, apparently someone there thinks they can modify their contract terms on the fly.

Unfortunately, they announce this late on a Friday, where they won't have competent personnel available to fight about this until Monday morning.

WTF ARE THEY THINKING????

I always thought I was the only one with that rule.

I got the same email. Mine states:
"The monthly rate for your FiOS Internet will change to $57.99 after June 11, 2008. "

I signed up for FIOS TV and Internet in October of 2007. I was wondering if my promotional internet rate was expiring, and this was going to be the new rate, but Verizon's website shows a price of $52.99 for the 15/2 service.
