Finally have the equipment installed after months and months of delays. It is an MDU installation so took 2 motorola 6000 ONT's and some serious mounting work. Hoping it gets turned on soon.

 I sent a message to the City of Santa Monica, and they contacted Verizon on my behalf. And it seems that the install for FiOS in Santa Monica, near Centinela, between Santa Monica Blvd. and Montana, will take place in 2009.

Here is the copy of the e-mail I received from Verizon:

Mr. XXXX

I spoke to the Engineering Manger for this project and your address falls within the Bundy Santa Monica wire center. This wire center is on the potential build out list for 2009. It has not been engineered yet. It may be built as early as the 3rd quarter of 2009 but this is not definite yet.

Please feel free to email in the future and I will certainly provide you and additional updates as I receive them.

So looks like FIOS for you sometime in 2010.
