Re: Where does insight stand on implementing caps? i found out!

Thank you for getting this information.

For whomever cares heres my feeling on this..

I want the freedom to download things at anytime in sizes that can be large at times. For example I just recently downloaded Pcmark's Vantage program its 665mb. The kids also like to try out games alot on their system. I would say our usages is much more then the general email, lookup information person. We are also far below the people who go overboard.

While im (meaning our home internet as a whole) not a abuser of things, I have strong disagreeing opinion of the restrictions that places like rogers in canada and others are doing. When insight sends out letters informing people about their usage (like i recently commented about in another thread) I was good with that. As a past computer tech and things I dont see that as a threat. All the calls I used to get (and still do from friends and family) from people that this and that is happening. Not everyone is tech savery. I think the letter is a way of saying "Hey you have something going on". I dont care if your expert or beginner.

Now last thing, Im already a 20.0 user I dont want to have to pay more for my internet. Now Insight has been good and given us upgrades and keeping our costs down (and just recently dropped the 20.0 monthly) and im very thankful for that. I would like this freedom we have to remain without extra charges. I dont want the system to change cause of others going overboard. We have enough to deal with as users dealing with people who have abused things and we end up being the ones to pay. I would be disappointed in the future if things change to caps cause other companies or abusers are the reason. For im assuming most of us have followed the rules (and common sense ones) and we will still get penalized.
