Old YDI BCU converted to Mikrotik

Anyone remember these things??

I have an old one laying around from many years back that we aquired.

My question is this, it has no ide drives or flash drives it just has an on board disk on chip thing that is plugged into a socket I am trying to reflash this onboard chip with a version of Mikrotik.

The problem I am running into is that using net installer it sees the pc unit but says it has no drives on it. The pc boots from the on chip unit and in the bios you can turn the chip on or off yet net install sees no drives.

I do have a MK IDE flash drive but there is no full size IDE slot on this unit its one of the mini IDE slots with open pins on the board no socket.

Has anyone ever tried this and if so how did you do it? IF not where can I find a mini IDE to a full size ATX IDE socket convertor all I have found is this »cgi.ebay.com/MINI-2-BUS-ATA-66-1···Q2el1247

I'm not sure this cable will work for your application as some small SBC's use JTAG cables for programing with a preliminary boot software. I think that EMC_GUY would be your best bet for advice.
