I do have the WPA set and the name of the router is not broadcast, so they would have to know the name first.
This happened again overnight last night and I am having the same problems again.
I mean, what motivation does some random stranger have to upgrade my router (ooooo!). While Verizon has the means and motivation ($).
Again, I'm interested if other people are having the same issue. |

Erial, NJ | Verizon does do automatic, forced updates on the FIOS modems as I recall, and I wonder if they are now doing the same for the DSL modems. |
