As I said, it took me a long while to fill a disc (actually, a 750GB disc, not 700GB). Using a 3Mbps DSL connection. More to the point, I have not watched 1/4 of what I have downloaded.

Idle minds boggle at the idea of moving that volume of data in under 30 days.

I'll agree that bandwidth is relatively cheap but upgrading the network to handle the increased usage along with extra for future needs is a major job & very costly. I would like to think that ISPs keep an eye on this, weighting the cost/benefit ratio, looking for the best time to implement the major upgrade.

Why take to the trouble to fight with Bell ? Just go enlist another provider. Numerous companies are better than Bell in terms of price/quality ratio, and their offerings are straight forward too. Some of these providers do not sneak around the clients' back.
