The WAN side is the IP address issued dynamically by the ISP. So for me, anyway, the "WAN gateway" and WAN IP are the same. The WAN IP is the IP that assigned by your ISP, which should not be the same as the WAN gateway aka Router's IP or Lan IP.
Added: the "WAN IP" can be obtained by browsing www.myipaddress.com
