After having FTTP Elite for over 14 months, my address finally qualifies for U-Verse.
Is there any word on when a 2HD 2SD profile will be available in the Austin, TX market? Also is there any word on when a Whole House HD-DVR will be available?
If the answer is a long time, I might just stick where I am or switch over to U-Verse Max Internet only. If these features are truely available in the near future, I might actually be interested in giving U-Verse a try. Otherwise the service is still not comparable to DirecTV. |

Enlightener the choice is for you to decide get it now or wait till the function comes out. |

It depends on your definitions of near. 2 HD is already live, according to reports, in the St Louis TV market, and in the state of CT. The rest of the country is coming soon. I cannot comment on to how soon, but it is coming.
WH-DVR I am not sure still. But the date that is talked about is somewhere around welcoming the new year (2009). |
