Re: [Servers] TS Gateway server name for RDC

Ok so I will install Windows server 2008 on my terminal machine (the one currently running on xp). But what is/where do I get the TS Gateway server name I need to specify on my host laptop computer?

You need to know your public IP address and you'll have to forward port 3389 in your router to the internal IP address of that machine.

No need to install server just to do that and no reason to install TS Gateway. You use only TS Gateway running on Windows server if you have multiple PC's in your network you need to remote into from outside.
