dangerman : koolkid, how do I keep it out of the DMZ? Whenever I change the firewall settings I can't get on line until I let it put me back in DMZ mode.

Frohike, I would understand if I was actually hooking a 2nd router up but I'm not. That's the crazy part. The RG is forcing my desktop PC into DMZ mode and I don't know why.

The only thing connected to the RG is the STB and 2 wireless connections which are my desktop (forced into DMZ) and a laptop (no issues).

dangerman : Unless my computer is in DMZplus mode I can't connect to the internet. If I change the firewall settings to maximum protection I get a router behind router error and am forced into DMZplus mode again.

Anybody know how to solve this? all the posts I've seen about DMZplus mode are regarding someone trying to add a router behind the RG and this is just a Desktop PC using the wireless USB from Uverse.

I also have a laptop which doesn't have this issue when connecting.

Another strange thing is even though I am posting this right now the Network Summery page on the RG says that I am "Inactive". go figure.
