upgrade ideas?

i need some advice for upgrading my home office, i kinda know what i want but i have no clue where or what to really get.

1. Complete system backups - something like hard disk images (Used them in high school loved them) plus the possibility to restore from a network server for three pc's

2. decent laser printer AIO - just looking for a good laser printer that has a network scanner with ADF, and a fax capabilities,

3. server for back ups, DHCP, web server, firewall
* i have server 2k3 thanks to MSDNAA

4. good 6-8 port switch

to have a centralized backup location, ability to restore quickly in case of hard disk failure, and ink jet is just to pricy for the amounts of paperwork I am beginning to print out, and better control over my network

I suppose the question is, what do you have now to upgrade?

1. Look into stuff from Acronis. Many swear by True Image and i'm sure one of the versions will do what you want.

2. You'll get many answers on this. I personally swear by Konica-Minolta color lasers. I've had mine for three years and its always worked perfectly.

3. I would put backups on a different machine from your firewall/web/DHCP server. Or at least put the web server in a VM or separate machine. You don't want an exploit letting people into your network.

Why does your diagram show one of your PCs being both wired and wireless?

You can't have a Wii in your home office. You'll never get any work done.

I gave up drinking and eating bad food. And in 14 days, I had lost 2 weeks.
