Former Storm customers forced to Xplornet

Ok, so I've had Xplornet for less than a week (3 days in fact)and after Storm's true 3Mbps download/upload speeds to get Xplornet's FAP (read: Nazi-esque traffic shaping because they don't want to pay for more bandwith than they need) and port-blocking I'm fed up. So I told the CSR on the phone last night that I am quite dissatisfied with Xplornet's policies and that I will be thinking carefully as to whether or not I am going to take advantage of the 30 day withdrawal policy. That's when the CSR dropped the bomb

IF YOU WERE WITH STORM AND WERE FORCED TO GO TO XPLORNET - YOU CAN'T WITHDRAW FROM THEIR SERVICE WITHOUT FULL PENALTIES BEING APPLIED. The 30 day withdrawal policy doesn't apply to us. If, by the grace of god, you read this before Xplornet contacts you DON'T SIGN UP WITH THEM. Look for any alternative.

Turns out if you push hard enough (big surprise) you can get out since I'm sure it wouldn't stand up in court should I choose to press it.

Anyhow, time to look at WiMax
