[DVR] RCN Channel guide says "No data" on every channel

Hello, my channel guide hasn't worked properly in over a week. Every channel says "no data" instead of displaying the program that is on or the programs coming up. RCN told me to unplug the box to reset. I did and it did nothing. Can anyone give me some help? Be specific, I'm not good with electronics...

There's a number you can dial... 866-482-8344 that allegedly sends a reset signal to your converter(s). You might want to give that a try.

You can always call them to do a "power reset". Just make sure you turn off your tv first as according to them it can make your TV "blow up".

Hold down the Guide button until it says READ on the front display , then hold down the power button until it says boot. This will dump current guide and force a reload.

I got it working, thanks! It required a couple calls, but I ended up resetting like one of you suggested.
