Alex G Bell : Ever since I downloaded MS Netframework 1.1, or whatever it is--an update I will never use--when my computer wakes up from the screensaver, I am directed to a logon screen even though I have only a single administrative account on the machine (i.e. the machine is not shared).

That matter does not bother me so much as the fact that a message appears under my login saying I have "1 unread e-mail." I check my e-mail and I have no new or unread items, and yes I have gone through all the folders and checked to see if I have an unread old e-mail and I don't.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
--
"Remember, Comrade, people who are willing to destroy an efficient telephone system may not be playing with a full deck."
