[Help] Chosing a new camera, budget $150ish

i am looking for a decent point and shoot camera in the 150 dollar range. I am currently in Iraq so i dont really need anything super great but something that will last me and take great pics. A DSLR is out of the picture because well its real hard to throw one of those things in your pocket. I would prefer that the camera not use AA/AAA batteries. I just hate cameras that do and would preferably use SD but other formats are ok.

I thank you in advance and if this question is better suited in another forum then please mods feel free to move it

thank you all in advance

Currently stuck in a foreign country thanks to good old Uncle Sam, member of Cco 1/2 Stryker Cavalry Regiment. Sucks being attached to a cav unit when you are infantry =\

If you want something you will still be happy with a year from now (assuming you have interest beyond snapshots), shoot more for the $200-250 range, much more capable (near SLR function even if fixed lens) stuff there for the minor additional investment.

Don't know what the price is or if any other brands offer it, but the Pentax Optio W series might be a good idea since they are sealed. Would really help keep the sand and dust out given where you are.
