before i purchased my new PC, i did some research and even though the new Phenom processors are newer than many of the Intel ones, they simply don't compare in terms of performance...i was originally not going to get the PC i did get because the Q6600 is kind of "old", but it still spanks the Phenom 9500, 9600 and 9700, badly.

Like hell--he's 15---I pumped gas full time after school for my money. Walked into Solid Sound the day I turned 16 and bought a 800 dollar Pioneer Casette deck and door speakers. Installed it myself. Not enough bass so bought a set of Realistic Mach 1 house speakers and put them in the back seat. God I had a blast in that old car.
If he wants a new game machine it`s on his sweat this time. |

i remember when i bought mine, most of the towers were $600-$750 for the AMD Phenom units...it is less than mine, but my $1020 also includes a 24" LCD monitor.

that's like saying it would be better to have two Kia Sephia's over one BMW 3 series, because you get two.

I have Photoshop open in one monitor and in the second monitor I'll have open a tutorial on the web or in a pdf.
I could never go back to a single monitor for photo editing.... |
