I have at least 2 of them doing the same thing, and from what I can tell, it's a hardware problem. If you connect a serial console, you will notice it reboots when it tries to initialize the VoIP chip. I haven't found a solution, but other people seem to have experienced the same issue and one possible reason that makes them break might be the cheap power supply which delivers 15V or more instead of 12V. Please have a look at this thread: »Did you have a failed PAP2-V2, RTP300 or WRTP54G? |

| Great news, but have you actually tried it with a VoIP account ? I have one which I thought I fixed by using another power adapter, but when I set it up with a VoIP account I realized the VoIP chip was bad (one line would show off hook permanently and the other one on hook and neither had dial tone). |
