I find this story rather hard to believe.
I would tend to agree - I wonder if the questions were skewed to get the result they wanted especially with who did the study which seems to be a medial/marketing company. Maybe this was done and released with the idea of trying to increase online advertising and they then make more money - would not be the first time this type of thing was done.

I don't care how much money my friends and I have - we don't buy purely based off of any advertisements - online or offline (especially online ads). I, and my friends, are a marketers worst nightmare...
