1 edit | Daytime is throttled My max torrent speeds during the last few days has been ranging from 70 to 120 KB/s. I've confirmed with a colleague in another city that it is also happening to them.
I know the source and I know that there is throttling happening.
There is not sanctuary from Bell. This is a company that consistently changes its service parameters. They cannot be trusted further than you can throw a wet pillow.
And no... I will not escalate this to anyone... the problem is that throttling box ... end of diagnostic !

Just got a flashback from when that guy was talking on the ice at the beginning of one of their last games.... He couldn't keep the mic straight so was bouncing his helmet from side to side. Anyone want to make bets we see the sale of a gladiator bobble-head next year! LOL

BTW.. I'm a Sens fan too... so I can "tolerate" you being a Bell employee.
Dang .. These torrents are coming from a site that usually just dishes it out at the rate of ~ 200KB/s per torrent. Now I'm getting about 5 to 10 KB/s per torrent.
My colleague (in that other town) is also getting the same symptoms. Lotsa seeders, minimal leechers. Something is askew here.
One common denominator is that we are both from TekSavvy.
It's like banging my head on a brick wall.
One example (12 seeders.. power connections, 2 leechers, recent torrent, download rate 5 KB/s)... ouch .. I use to get around 200 KB/s from these guys).
Watsup with that ? They all forget to pay their bills ?
I know... torrents are unpredictable... but this is a heck of a difference. Please remember that this behaviour has started in the last few days.
Since Canada is out of the cup... there's always next year !
