I'd recommend going Here and following the overclocking instructions, it should get you a nice stable overclock as long as you take your time to verify stability. Following that guide you will get the most effecient baseline to start from (no OC just best setttings for stock) then get you a decent OC.

 Thanks for the link. It is very informative. I followed it and did the mild overclock. The machine ran stable but hot. During Crysis I had core temps of 55c. Too hot for my liking especially with a minimum gain in frame rates. I am using the stock cooling right now. I set the cpu back to stock speed of 2.4ghz but kept my memory at 1:1. Are those core temps in the 50's safe to run?
