Re: Why no SIM??? said by Cruzinmy64 :
No idea why CDMA phones like Sprint / Verizon can't have something that makes life SO MUCH easier ... A SIM CARD!!! Really, what is the issue???? I like CDMA but the simple SIM card in GSM phones may make me switch. Sprint can be real pr*cks when simply upgrading to a new handset or when they *extended my contract* because I had them turn on an old unused handset with my existing (no contract) number (dropped my orig phone). They then make you pay FULL price for another phone if less then 2 yrs after that! Bast**rds!!! I'm sure they would just love to hand out $200+ phones to everyone for free whenever somebody wants one. -- Asus P5N-E SLI|E4500|2 GB DDR2 800|8800GT|Audigy + Front Bay|Hauppauge PVR-150MCE|Vista Ultimate + XP Pro SP2 dual boot|Sony Vaio VGN-CR290|Sprint Mobile Broadband|Netgear WGR614v8 |

 | I am one who jumped ship from Sprint to Verizon.
Sprints phone selection, customer service and options are virtually non-existent.
When canceling, they told me I would have $600 in fees for breaking the contract. Turned out, when I called to cancel, the first rep renewed my contract without saying a word then transferred me to retention to try to "save" me (she told me she was not capable of canceling an account). The retention rep just looked at my account and told me I would owe $600. Took me an hour of going back and forth to find out that the first rep did what they did.
Stay clear of Sprint aka "The Sinking Ship"
Besides, I am looking forward to the construction of Verizon's new broadband network based off the old analog spectrum. |

 | Contract expired 4/12. Switched to VZW on 4/13. Reason? Customer service. |

 | reply to ydoucare VZW gives you a discount on new equipment if you extend your contract. Sprint refuses to do that. They make you pay full price for it- which if someone is willing to extend their contract I don't see the problem on the discount. |

I had my ic902 for 7 months and got my mogul for 2 year online pricing (on their suggestion) with the extension.. Not just me but quite a few people I know have sprint and get new phones every 6-9 months or so.. They're a whole lot more flexible than VZ has ever been.. |
