Odd, I thought it was pretty clearly obvious that CDMA voice quality is better than GSM - it can be explained technically and is pretty obvious when checking them all from a landline phone. The worst sounding to me are ATT and T-Mobile phones. Sprint, Verizon, Alltel and other CDMA users w/out any question sound better - I suppose it's subjective. But it will also depend on the phone itself. Some CDMA phones are indeed crappy.

Well, I use to be on VZW for 8 years and they do have better call quality than the GSM carriers. However, while it could be the phones or maybe poorly spaced cell towers creating a bad signal...I don't like talking to several of my friends cause of the quality of the call.
