I have noticed and increase of speed in loading of applications and Boot-Up time (when I reboot) with SP3 installed. I haven't installed SP3 on my wifes computer yet, or the kids computer either.

I have also noticed a speed improvement over SP2. To me it just seems that apps load faster, boot is faster, etc.

I'll be interested to load it on our laptop and see what happens there.
