I got my SpeedTouch and I'm trying to "set it up" like everyone else but I'm having trouble doing so. »speedtouch.lan and 192.168.1.254 aren't coming up with anything. How can I flash the firmware and all that other good stuff? |

Once you've done that you still need the password to get into the modem. Not sure if it's on the forums, or maybe someone can help you with it. |

Well, there's more to it than just putting those in - you need to be on the same network branch as the modem itself (can't be behind a router) and your IP needs to be in the same range as the one you listed (or a couple others it responds to by default). Then, you'd run into the problem that a firmware flash can fix, which is the unknown username/password. PM me if you're interested in the guide. |
