| reply to Coma I won't be attending... what local juice are you pushing?
My wife and I usually hit the Mount Vernon Wine Festival in the Fall and I do my part (and then some) to sample all the local vineyards |

| reply to Coma We thought of going for about one minute...until we saw what they want for admission. That's just ridiculous.
We used to go to 'April in Paris' and 'Taste of Virginia' until they turned into overpriced circuses. These days if we have a Wine Tasting Jones, we pack a picnic and point the jaloppy toward Hume. Oasis, Rappahannock, and a couple of others are all within a couple of miles of each other there. It's a scenic drive once you're off 66, and there are lots of pretty places to stop and enjoy a picnic. -- There is no giant fur-bearing trout. |

| reply to grobinette said by grobinette :Wow, on second thought it's a little to pricey for my taste I mentioned that to the Boordy marketing director because she was unaware of the cost and her reply was similar with a comment referring to something about noses and assholes.
Anyway, I get a free ticket because I'm a nice guy . . . .
. . . . and I'll do my best to make sure that all the food and drink are suitable for human consumption. Hell, I'll even take my camera to document the evidence.

| reply to Coma Elegant, World Class and PG County...who would have thought these 3 in the same sentence? I think it is very nice and I hope it helps the tax base, but it is more for out of towners than citizens. -- Simple rules - no offsides, no intent to maim, everything else is all good! |
