Re: [Vista] Vista and SBS 2K3 will not play nice You cannot join the machine to a Domain and create a machine account. You cannot enable a security panel logon GUI.
1. Make sure you have a user account with password that exactly matches an existing user account and password on the SBS Domain.
2. Make sure the Workgroup Name matches the Domain Name.
Make sure that password protected sharing is enabled.
:!: Reboot.
3. Logon with the user credentials that match the Domain account.
4. You can now use Domain resources.
E.G.:
NET USE K: \\SBS_SERVER_NAME\SOME_SHARE_NAME
NET USE LPT3: \\SBS_SERVER_NAME\SOME_PRINTER\SHARENAME
