It still means they HAD bandwidth they were sitting on (be it for locals or national). That was my point. They sat on useful bandwidth. I'll agree that it will probably mean a delay in local HD rollouts. Sad.

| Well don't forget first they need to get the capacity up there, then they can't just put up makets as they wish, but go through negotiations with each station in each one.
True of national HD, maybe it took a while to negotiate a fair deal vs what the network originally wanted.
It is also the possible the satelite had to be moved from a secondary arc location, that takes time and careful planning, and then retesting it all.
Many factor come into it all, its not just the "You can just Do It" thing many see it as.
