| Disable script
When you are visiting this forum, a script keeps running to show how many members viewing. Not only that is annoying, it also consumes your computer's CPU time and put a constant load on your Internet connection (especially bad if you're using dialup, EVDO, GPRS etc.). It also prevents your computer from sleeping automatically.
To resolve this, first thing first use Firefox and then get NoScript add-on to block script. You might also get the adblock+ to block the annoying ads as well. Also open about:config and set image animation from "Normal" to "none" to stop those annoying GIF animation. |
