fatness : The NFL tried to sweep the problem under the rug, and tried to keep Matt Walsh from coming forward with anything he knows about cheating by videotaping (or other means). It's a sport watched by millions, it's supposed to be an athletic contest where the outcome is determined on the field. If a team can cheat, get discovered, and have most of what they did covered up by the league, it raises the issue of whether it's more like professional wrestling than like a fair athletic contest. That would affect the NFL's broadcast license. That's why a Senator is involved.
--
Female monkeys often utter loud, distinctive calls before, during or after sex..

Spygate

waldoooo : Why is there a senator involved with the "spygate" investigation???? Shouldn't this be a NFL only problem? I haven't followed the stories on this since it happened but just heard on ESPN that the main witness is meeting with the NFL commissioner today then flying to meet with a senator on the matter.

I understand the senate getting involved in the steroid controversy since the drugs are illegal and can cause great harm to our athletes as well as anyone else who follows in their footsteps using them. But anyone other than the NFL itself getting involved in a cheating controversy is out of line and a complete waste of taxpayer dollars.
