dslx_gm : Hi brykasch -

Next time the connection dies can you just try to reset the computer to see if that correct the issue. If that does not try resetting the router and then the DSL modem. If you do them all together it makes it difficult to determine which piece of equipment is causing the issue. Based on what you mentioned about the mouse though, it sounds as though there may be an issue on the machine that needs to be looked into.

What are the status of the lights on the DSL modem when you are not able to connect?

Thanks
--
George
General Manager
DSL Extreme
Will work for reviews. ;)

brykasch : For the last week, week and a half. I have been getting dropped from our connection, unplugging the modem ( which is around a year old), unplugging the router, and the pc (also less than a month old).

And let it sit for about 15 min reconnect everything and it works fine again. I have to do this an avg of once a day some twice, it seems to happen mainly between the hours of 8-11 CST. Had to reset it around 11 am this morning and as I am typing it it just now dropped again.

Odd thing is when I hook everything back up internet works but my mouse will be froze and I will have to unplug that and plug it back in for it to work. Getting really frustrated and don't know where to start.
