Online prequal?

What!? No online prequalification? I don't want to talk to a sales person and give them my contact info just to find out that I don't qualify for service!

Heh - looks like the only way to get 'dry loop' (i.e. w/o TV service) Uverse is through business, or order + cancel TV

Also pricey:
1.5/1Mbps = $40
3.0/1Mbps = $50
6.0/1Mbps = $60
10.0/1.5Mbps = $100

Not surprising. That pricing structure is identical (except for the 10 megabit) to their 1-yr contract business DSL product, but you get a much better upload for the same money.

1.5/0.384 Mbps = $40
3.0/0.512 Mbps = $50
6.0/0.768 Mbps = $60

$5 off for a two year contract.

I'd take a 3.0/1.0Mbps Uverse + VoIP standard (non-business) tomorrow, if I didn't have to go through the B.S. of ordering/cancelling TV service.

At least Time Warner will give me 6Mbps + VoIP for $69.99
AT&T isn't selling Uverse Voice here, Call Vantage won't port, and Uverse must be ordered with TV to be installed... what a pain. I have POTS Unlimited + DSL Extreme, which is a bit pricey (because of POTS!).

pricey? not really. the 6 mbs service is about 10$ more than my residential 7 mb service with qwest. For that extra 10$ you get , no bandwidth caps and the option of getting a static ip (which is not available to residential accounts?). The only drawback could be a 1-2 year contract and support. Some isp's dont have a business call line, working at wavebroadband, getting customer service on a business account was often painful. calling the main cs line was the last thing you would do.

Well, Qwest territory is never cheap.

Does that pricing include static IP?

I assume this uses VDSL?

If so I should totally get it, if it's ever available to me.

I wonder where exactly in the STL (St. Louis) area it's available.

Not nearly as pricey as Charter CBN where 5Mbps is over $100
