I don't think 2012 or the Mayan calendar are conspiracies. The first is a prediction and the second is a calendar.

Last time I checked »56k Lookout (Broadband Heavy) doesn't allow discussions like this any more since it distracted from the purpose of the forum too much. For the most part, other forums react in a negative way to discussions like the ones noted above and they end up getting locked or get way out of hand.
I just figured it would be fun to have a forum to talk about stuff like this in a semi-serious manner.
