| Guide Info Mixed Up & VOD Missing Primetime Network Shows
I thought I recorded Rat Patrol on AL Boomer TV but I got a different show instead. I started looking through the guide and found other mistakes- listings that were an hour off, shows listed in wrong timeslots, wrong program data- more inaccurate info than usual.
And, I didn't record NCIS because it's usually availlable in the VOD around 11:00 Tuesday. But, tonight it's not. CSI Miami should have been in the VOD late Monday. Same goes for Medium. But, 24 hours later, they're not. I didn't record either show as they are supposed to be in the Broadcast Primetime section of the VOD. But, they aren't there. I could watch them online with my 17 in. monitor, but it's better on a big screen TV.
Anyone else have trouble accessing these shows or notice wackier than usual guide info? Mark F. |

| It looked OK to me earlier tonight, for as much particular attention I paid to it. And now, at 1:30 AM on Wed, the latest episodes of NCIS and CSI Miami are in the VOD selections.
However, since you've raised the messed up/changed guide issue, it looks like they're getting lazier.
Previously, when you pressed the info button, while in the guide and looking at a movie listing, you would get the year of the movie, a partial list of the cast and then a brief plot description that might have spanned a couple of screens, requiring a scroll-down using the channel button for longer descriptions. You'd get the same display when hitting the info button twice while watching a movie.
Now, when you do either of the above, you only get the movie year and a plot description - no cast list. I miss that piece of information. It also looks like they've upped the character size of the text slightly on the description area.
I've also noticed more typos and grammatical errors - too lazy to proof read. And, yes, I have seen frequent screw-ups on the listings for local channels in the past.

| I just watched CSI Miami online at cbs.com. Good show.
But, I just checked the VOD again on both the HD DVR and the STB- the latest episode of CSI Miami listed is from just over a week ago. Same for Medium and NCIS. I even checked the HD On Demand. The latest episodes aren't in the VOD.
Could it be a local problem? Would a reboot help? Thanks. Mark F. |

| Just checked CBS VOD and the latest CSI Miami listings are for the 05/12 airing (both SD & HD) and NCIS is for the 05/13 SD episode.
I am in the Phila., PA area. What's available has to be by local VHO. You could try rebooting but I doubt it would make any difference. Also, if you were having an internet data problem, then you wouldn't be able to get into the VOD listings at all.
