| help messed up applications open with...
not enough coffee and with eyes closed i clicked on the wrong thing i guess i was right clicking on an EXE , open with, and i clicked on one list, .... now all applications open with firefox. this is so annoying and i got to read my emails for work... ahhh... how do i disable this file association? |

but i dont know what to search for in the registry |

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.exe
Application key is now set to firefox.exe
but i dont know what the default was explorer.exe just starts showing up a dialog "do you want to open (application name)" without running it.... |

I don't have that key at all, may export that key and then delete it and C. -- I used to be indecisive, now I am not sure. |
