Problems with Linksys WRT54GL(With Tomato Firmware) and Shaw

Every few days my internet would stop working, I would reset both the Modem and Router but it wouldnt work...

The internet would begin working about 15-20 mins later but this is ticking me off...

It just happened 5 minutes ago so I tried connecting my modem directly to my PC and the internet works now...

What could be wrong, wrong settings on my router?

or is Shaw bad with routers?

please help

if it works without the router, its the router.

The problem started up again when the modem was connected directly to my PC.

A Shaw Technician is on his way over today, I hope the problem is fixed..

The tech came and installed a new (blue) modem and he said he fixed a line in my backyard.

Hope it doesnt shut off.

A blue modem? What kind is it? Motorola? Do you know what the model is? Plus, where do you live, what city?

Thanx man!

sounds like the new 5202. Doesn't have the standby button on it.
