I'm sure you've read the reviews of the G. Skill Ram on Newegg. The stuff is fantastic for the price. I just built a machine with a Gigabyte P35 DS3P motherboard and used the G. Skill F2-6400CL5D 4 gig kit. You can overclock if you stay under 1000 and I was also able to tighten the timings to 4-4-4-12 with no problem. Awesome bang for the buck.

I'm running the above memory on my Abit IP35 Pro with a C2D E6750. CPU OC'd to 3520. FSB knocked up to 440. FSB/Dram running 1:1

Also, to put a bit more context to my previous post:

I run the Abit IP35-Pro with a Q6600 G0 with 4 sticks of the G.skill at 9x400, with the RAM:FSB at 1:1.25. I haven't tried to hit anything higher than 500mhz with those sticks, but the best timings I could do was 5-5-5-13 at 2.1v.

Some newegg reviews said they got them lower, but for that price of 2GB sticks, they run solid.

Have you raised the Vcore of your 6600? If so, to what? Mine ran rather warm when I started messing with the voltage. So I dropped it back down since it is brand new. Do you have an aftermarket heatsink on it?

VID was 1.2, I have it at 1.3 right now and it's P95 stable.

I have a TRUE on it with a Panaflo M1 120mm.

Temps for Core0 are 38-40C idle, 52C under load. The other cores are generally 4-5C lower.

any pc6400 RAM will be fine since you can raise the multiplier as much as you want. i'd just run the memory at 400 and raise the multi until you hit a wall.

my 2cents
