| reply to yoyomhz I thought he was great, but it wasn't until two notes in particular near the end that I was sure that it wasn't just a fluke. The breath control and the way he sings with his diaphragm was phenomenal. And his vibrato was at a level that many professionals wish for.
The big thing for this kid is going to be whether or not his mechanics stay intact after his voice changes. I didn't have his talent, but I sang a similar style at his age. Once my voice changed I still had a decent voice, but it was never at the same level as prior to puberty.
I also know what it's like to be bullied because you "sing like a girl." You're proud of yourself for what you can do, but it's hard to deal with kids who just don't get it and want to make fun of you for something they don't understand. -- Check out the »Primus TalkBroadband VoIP FAQ. |
