DSL a joke

In Northern Sacramento county, DSL by at&t is a joke. 3 COs which don't even come close to serving the hundreds of thousands of people who live here, old brittle noisy lines that can't carry a decent DSL signal even if you are one of the dozen or so people who live close to a CO.

Comcast is king, unfortunately. No competition, no effort by at&t to upgrade their sad old PacBell infrastructure. No choice except to go with Comcast.
