NormanS : I don't know if the Westell WireSpeed 2200 can automatically adjust to the VPI/VCI pair. I believe that is 8/35 in the BS region; it has to be 0/35 in the former SBC regions, including AT&T West. Also, ATM encapsulation is, "LLC".
--
Norman
~Oh Lord, why have you come
~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum

dealjunkie : I have an old Westell Wirespeed 2200 from the time I was with ATT/BellSouth in Atlanta. I have signed up for ATT Yahoo Elite (6 MBPS downstream) DSL (Dry Line) - and I don't have a phone line in my apartment. When I connect the modem to the phone jack(s), I always get a blinking green light in the 'Ready' LED.

More information:

1. The power light is on, and the 'Ethernet' light is on when my computer is connected to the modem.
2. I have connected the modem directly to the phone jack, without a router.
3. I am using a black phone cable between the modem and the phone jack without a filter. The cable has a black cylinder on it closer to one of the ends.

I can't connect to the internet at all - any ideas?
