Re: [Other] ieSpell problem with Vista and IE7

I am using IE7 on XP Pro with SP-3 and AVG-8 free and have no difficulties with ieSpell.

Seems to work fine on 3 systems. I have nothing with Vista installed so that maybe where the issue lies.

I use the paid AVG 8 w/IE 7 Pro and it seems to be working fine... Then again each PC is different...

I am using AVG 8 (the free version). Hmmm...

Having the identical ieSpell error messages with the paid version of AVG8 on Vista-sp1.
Tried IE7pro, which isnt to my likings - for right now I'm putting up with the errors hoping someone comes up with a solution.

Did you try IE 7 spell checker...?... I like it more than iespell... ---> Tools-> IE7 Pro preferences -> Modules -> Check, Spell Checker...
Thanks, IE7 Pro may be my alternative... I'll try it out...

A user has reported a similar problem existed after installing AVG 8.0, in case you have that software installed:

If using FireFox, that also has it's own spell checker...

Just a couple of alternatives... ...

I am getting these funky errors, see the screen shots, when I use ieSpell on a Vista Ultimate laptop running IE7. I think this started after SP1 was installed but I am not real sure about that. A search on this BBR forum did not find any resolution. Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong? This morning I uninstalled ieSpell then reinstalled, running the installer in XP SP2 compatabity mode, but the problem persists.
